Returns Policy

Warrnambool Toys and Baby understands that the perfect gift in your eyes is not always the perfect gift in theirs! To ensure the speedy resolution of your return or exchange, please refer to the guide below if you are returning or exchanging items at the Warrnambool Toys and Baby store. 

Our returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must adhere to the following:
- You must have a receipt or proof of purchase.
- The item must be in its original packaging, including all accessories and instruction manuals.
- The item must be in saleable condition ie. unopened, unused and in the original condition you received it.


If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind, we will offer you an exchange or a store credit, providing the return criteria are met (see above for return criteria).

Simply return the item in store and our friendly staff can assist you with an exchange or credit note. 
*Credit notes are valid in store only for 12 months.

If you wish to return a a product you purchased online because you have changed your mind, we will offer you an exchange or credit note, so long as the return criteria is met (see above for return criteria).

PLEASE NOTE:  Warrnambool Toys and Baby is not responsible for the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs for returns or exchanges are at the customers expense. Any / All shipping costs are Non-Refundable.

To return your product, you should mail it to: PO Box 5141, Warrnambool, VIC, 3280, Australia.

- We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

- Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

- To advise the store of an incoming return, please email your order details and tracking number to:

REFUNDS (if applicable)
Once your online return is received in store, we will inspect the item following our returns criteria. We will send you an email to notify that we have received your returned item and we will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of buesiness days.
Please note: Any / All shipping costs are Non-Refundable.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable) - 
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALE / DISCOUNTED ITEMS (if applicable) -
Any items purchased at a discounted price, or during a sale period cannot be refunded. 

EXCHANGES (if applicable) -

- There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery will not be approved for a refund or exchange. 


- Remote control models including Cars, Boats, Planes, Trains and Helicopters along with their accessories can be quite sophisticated and are designed for people with high skill level with knowledge and understanding on how to operate, maintain and repair the model.
- All models are bound by our normal Refund and Exchange Policy as well as a manufacturer’s warranty which covers faults due to poor manufacturing but does not cover any damage caused by any persons or objects that come into contact with as a result of using the model. This includes any damage as a result of a crash or impact damage, water damage, incorrect assembly undertaken by you, incorrect use and lack of maintenance.

- It is important to understand that faults due to poor maintenance, abuse or normal wear and tear are not covered by warranty. Many models require expertise and patience to assemble and maintain the model in working order. This will include understanding the operation of the model and knowing how to repair and maintain the model so that it may continue to be used as expected. If you are unsure about what is suitable for you, contact us so we can talk you through what you need to know before purchasing a hobby product.

- Many faults on Radio Control items can be quickly and easily rectified by contacting the manufacturer's customer service number directly. Because of this, postage costs for the return of faulty Radio Control items are not covered by Toyworld Warrnambool unless the manufacturer has contacted and has authorised a return to Toyworld Warrnambool. Please refer to the user manual that came with your product or contact us if you need assistance to determine contact details of the manufacturer.

Any abusive, aggressive or disrespectful behaviour towards our team will not be tolerated. Our staff are here to help you, not to hurt you, so please be kind while we work together to come to a fair resolution in accordance with ACCC guidelines.
